It’s a Clothing Revolution

Taught by Jennifer Whitty

Sorry this workshop is Sold Out

Jennifer Whitty, a Senior Lecturer of Fashion at Massey University, will introduce you to some of the sustainable, transformation processes developed for your once loved items of clothing that you no longer wear.

Move away from the notion of mass-produced and embrace up-cycling by applying design skills and thinking. Learn about the current situation of low engagement in sustainable fashion and discuss its impact on today’s society.

In groups of three, you will take your clothing and learn about the processes and practices used to redesign the garments.

These processes have been developed for the new Massey University initiative Space Between.
